Frenasee recently received First Place Award and Blue Ribbon, professional
watercolor division, at the
Georgia National Fair, Perry GA, October 2006
The award was given for her full length portrait of Katie Bell
Bourassa. The portrait is a timeless portrayal of Katie Bell at her grandmother,
Harriet Claxton's residence. It includes Harriet's large brimmed garden
hat and is named by the composition,
My Grandmother's Hat.
