Portraits-Fine Art-Decorative Painting - Watercolors-Oils-Acrylic

In 2004 Frenasee was honored by a Senate Proclamation from the State of Georgia for her portrait of Senator Hugh M. Gillis. The background of the finished 36" x 60" work, commissioned by the Dublin Rotary Club, portrays a landscape of the Hugh M. Gillis public fishing lake where a reproduction of the original painting hangs. Other recent portraits include Dr. Sue Williams and Dr. Elizabeth Moore, former directors of the Oconee Regional Library and Ms. Martha Hooks respected community leader. Recent limited editions include her interpretation of Main Street Dublin commissioned by the Main Street Dublin association and the Dublin High school football stadium commissioned by the Fighting Irish Booster Club. The Bank of Dudley proudly displays 12 new paintings of local historical sights painted by frenasee for the production of it’s 2005 calendar.

Whether it is a portrait or a mural, Frenasee offers a unique creative ability to complete a great variety of artistic challenges. As a commissioned artist Frenasee works individually with her clients to create a lasting masterpiece that will bring aesthetic rewards for generations. The loose realism of her watercolor, oil and pastel painting presents an expressive representation of style while exhibiting unique artistic individuality. She has the ability to capture any subject matter and help her client bring their ideas and artistic dreams into completed visual reality.

Frenasee has work in private collections throughout the region. Her portraits, landscapes, still life, decorative painting and murals can be seen in many private homes and professional institutions. Current works for show and sale are on display at the Joseph House Art Gallery, Columbus, and The Rankin Arts Center, Columbus. Born in Washington State, her private studio is presently located in Dublin Georgia where she and her husband live.

Her first ten years of professional work was as an independent commercial artist. She is a trained computer graphics artist, has done direct mail marketing and is a photographer. With her Bachelor’s in Fine Art (B.F.A.), she is a certified art educator.
